DeLoss McGraw, a storyteller in his own right, has created a new body of work where the stories of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and the musical Oklahoma! collide. In McGraw’s Alice’s Oklahoma Adventures, Alice is the central figure in most of the works combined with Oklahoma-inspired settings and lyrics from the classic musical. From Alice in the Oklahoma prairie with farm animals to talking Oklahoma flowers, combined with McGraw’s imagination and use of vivid, saturated color, this new body of work creates a new tale from these classic stories.
