National Contemporary Realism is a survey of contemporary art created in the style of academic realism. Participating artists are invited from across the country, and their subject matter includes: narrative, still life, floral, and figurative. Many artists are creating new narratives with their painting, while others are giving a new voice to traditional techniques. National Contemporary Realism aims to create a dialogue about contemporary practices in American Realism.
