Jeanie Gooden has created a new body of work from her studio in San Miguel. The paintings are textured with thick layers of paint, metal appliques with brad nails, and her unique stitching over the surface. The texture and depth of the paintings verge on sculpture, and are emblematic of the environment in which Gooden created them.
