We are excited to present Parallel Visions featuring new work by artists Siddharth Parasnis and Suhas Bhujbal. Both artists will be present for the opening. Lite bites and refreshments will be provided. Valet parking is available in back.
Parallel Visions explores the interconnection of the urban environment and the diverse community that inhabits these spaces. Using rich, vibrant color, both artists explore their sense of place and the vitality of their community. The artwork is representative of community and environments in both the US as well as their native India. Often representations from both locations will be intertwined into singular paintings.
Siddharth Parasnis and Suhas Bhujbal are both painters who immigrated to the US from India in their early 20s. Both now based in San Francisco, their work often combines the sights and sounds surrounding them as well as the communities and environments found in their home country. Both artists have work in many private and corporate collections. Parasnis’ work has been acquired by Bakersfield Museum of Art, Bakersfield. Bhujbal’s work has been acquired by the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento and the Bakersfield Museum of Art, Bakersfield.
A preview is available below and the work can be previewed in the gallery. For inquiries and information please contact maryann@madorangallery.com or call 918.748.8700
